What We Provide

Every corporate booking includes the marquee, delivery, full installation, and collection. Beyond that, you can add whatever you need to make the space work for your event.

Furniture – Conference-style seating, banquet tables, cocktail tables, lounge areas, or a mix. We carry stock for events from 20 to 500+ guests.

Lighting and Power -Professional lighting rigs, uplighters, festoon, and spotlights. We can also arrange generator hire if there’s no mains power at your location.

Flooring -Carpet, wooden flooring, or hard floor panels. Important for outdoor sites with uneven or soft ground.

Branding -We can work with your branding guidelines to ensure the marquee reflects your company’s look. This includes entrance signage, interior banners, and branded elements throughout the space.

Climate Control– Heating for winter events. Fans or open sides for summer. London weather is unpredictable — we plan for it so you don’t have to.

You tell us about your event, date, location, guest count, and what you need the space to do (presentations, dining, networking, entertainment, or a combination). We come back with a recommendation and a quote.

For larger events, we’ll do a site visit to check the space, access, and any practical considerations. Once confirmed, our team handles all the logistics. We arrive the day before, build everything, and strip it all out after the event. You get a single point of contact throughout. No chasing multiple suppliers.

There are marquees that fit London gardens of every size and shape. From very long and thin, to quite large but often hidden away from view. And then there are some that are about as big as the marquee itself. But however long or wide, or whether it’s hidden away or on full display, we’ve worked with them all.
We hire out garden marquees in and around London, including Essex, Kent, Surrey and Hertfordshire; and use them for birthday celebrations, anniversaries, barbecues, family gatherings and really any occasion you can think of to hold a party in your garden.
How It All Works
You contact us and let us know, in general terms, what you’re planning — how many people will be at the event, what type of event you’re having, and where your garden is located. If it would help, please forward us a picture or video of the location. Based on this information, we’ll provide you with an estimate of what will work and approximately how much it will cost.
If you’re planning something fairly large or have a tight space, we’ll arrange a free on-site visit. On-site, we assess the condition of the ground (lawn, patio, gravel, etc.), measure the available space, determine the best way to enter/exit the tent, and recommend the best tent for you.
Our crew will handle every aspect of the installation process. We’ll deliver the tent, assemble it, and when the event is over, we’ll dismantle it and leave nothing behind. You won’t need to remove any furniture or prep the lawn in any way before we arrive.

Which Tent Will Work Best For Your Garden?

Stretch Tents
Stretch tents are the most versatile option for garden tents. The tent will adapt to any configuration you may require, including irregularly shaped corners and uneven terrain. Stretch tents are a great choice for summertime events as they provide a casual yet elegant appearance. Additionally, stretch tents can be installed partially open on one or both sides.
Frame Marquees
Frame tents offer a cleaner, sleeker appearance compared to stretch tents. Frame tents feature centre poles, which allow the interior of the tent to remain fully open. This design makes it ideal for setting up tables, bars and/or dance floors without interference from centre poles. Frame tents require a flat surface to install; therefore, they are best suited for patios and level lawns.
Pole Marquees
Traditional peak style pole tents. Pole tents require more space than frame tents due to the guy lines. Therefore, these are best suited for larger gardens. While pole tents may seem somewhat dated, they offer a classic aesthetic.
Adding Extras
While we specialise in renting out tents, we also offer a variety of other products for rent that complement the tent rental experience. We rent tables and chairs (including round, trestle, and banquet) along with lighting options (such as festoon strings, fairy lights and uplighters). In addition to the standard floor-covering options (carpet, wooden planks, and a dance floor), we also offer heating units for cooler evenings and lounge-style seating areas if you’d like to create a relaxed atmosphere.
All of the additional items we offer are included in the same delivery and setup as the tent(s) you choose to rent. One supplier, one delivery, no hassle.

Wedding Marquee Hire London

When you rent a marquee for your wedding, you’re not limited by a pre-defined area of a venue, as many other venues are. You can choose where you hold your wedding, how you want the space arranged, and what atmosphere you want to create throughout the wedding day. There are no house rules, no time limits for when things stop happening, and no limitations on the way you arrange the wedding.
At Marquee Hire London, we provide tent rentals for weddings all over London, Essex, Kent, Surrey and Hertfordshire. We’ve installed tents in a variety of locations, including private gardens, fields, parks and large estate grounds. As long as the land is level and our vans can reach the property, we’ll probably be able to accommodate your requirements.
What’s Included
All of our wedding bookings include delivery, setting up of the marquee (and other equipment) and collection at the end of your wedding. You won’t need to worry about anything on your wedding day as we will arrive the night before to set everything up, and return to collect everything once your wedding has finished.
In addition to the marquee, we also provide tables, chairs, sofas, lounge seating, lighting (such as festoon lights, fairy lights, up-lighters, chandeliers), flooring (carpets, wooden floors, dance floors) and heating systems (to keep the cold out). This means you do not have to worry about coordinating with multiple companies; we provide everything you need under one umbrella.

Wedding Marquee Options

Stretch Tents
An excellent choice for those who prefer a laid-back, “festival” type wedding, these tents offer an extremely organic, flowing design which works particularly well in a garden setting.
Traditional Pole Marquees
The classic peaked roof tent. Ideal for country weddings and garden receptions. The central peak creates a dramatic internal effect and a strong visual impact externally.
Clear Span / Frame Marquees
With no internal poles, these tents give you an open interior space that you can lay out as you see fit. With this flexibility, they can be used for formal sit-down meals, buffets, cocktail receptions or any combination. Additionally, you may consider adding clear roof panels or glass walls to make a real statement.
How Big Does My Wedding Tent Need to Be?
As a general rule of thumb, allow about 5 square meters of space per guest for a seated wedding with a dance floor. Therefore, if you’re planning to host a wedding with 100 guests, you’d require approximately 500 square meters of usable space. A tent measuring around 12m x 42m would be the equivalent of this, but depending on your specific needs, it could be larger or smaller.
If you’re considering hosting a standing reception or a cocktail-style wedding, you can go smaller, allowing for about 3 square meters of space per guest. During your complimentary site visit, we will assist you in determining the correct size for your needs. In addition to finding the best size for your wedding, we will also check the ground conditions, access routes, and identify any possible problems with the area.
